3.4 — Industries and Job Titles Don’t Create Niches — Identity Does
There’s a reason “entrepreneurs,” “founders,” and “executives” never convert well.
Nobody thinks of themselves that way.
You might technically be an entrepreneur,
but you don’t walk around all day thinking:
“I am an entrepreneur. I must look for entrepreneur content.”
Identity works differently.
Humans think in:
- worlds
- subcultures
- lived experiences
- daily rhythms
- internal struggles
- behavioural loops
- life stage pressures
- cultural codes
Not in job titles.
The algorithm thinks this way too.
So if your niche statement looks like:
- “I help entrepreneurs…”
- “I help founders…”
- “I help executives…”
You’re aiming at categories that do not exist as recognisable clusters online.
This is why generic messages never hit.
Not because they’re wrong.
But because they’re invisible.
